Timmy! Favourite NHL team?

Tampa Bay! I grew up loving Steven Stamkos just really followed on from there.

What got you into hockey?

Funnily enough I used to do the Friday night ice skating when I was young. One of my good friends used to play, Jacob Loades, and he sort of got me in through that. Stick and a puck, then drop in and then that was it.

Biggest practical joker on the team?

Ahhhh there’s a couple. I know I’ve been called out myself, by a couple of guys. I don’t know everyone is a bit of a joker. We are all good jokers.

If you had the chance to spend the day with anyone dead or alive who would it be?

Actually it would be Morgan Freeman! Because that guy is amazing - great actor such a cool guy. I love all of the movies that he is in… Shawshank Redemption THE BEST. That guy's voice is irresistible. Who would not resist spending a day with that? 

Favourite city to visit and play?

Queensland was the best! But next to that would be Melbourne, always a good time. 

When you're not playing hockey what do you like to do?

Lots of things: hang out with my friends, play video games online, have a beer.

Favourite hockey movie?

Miracle! It’s pretty standard.

What would your weapon of choice be in a Zombie Apocalypse?

NOT a bow and arrow that’s for sure, that’s a terrible choice. Probably a handgun and also ammo would be good to have. Also a sword, for a non-ammo weapon. 

Pump up song of choice?

There’s a lot! But really a lot of good trap music, good pump up songs, bit of ACDC never goes astray. Anything with a good high tempo beat is good!

Any pre-game rituals?

I used to wear my underwear inside out on game day … then we lost like three games in a row. So I stopped doing that! I haven’t really got any new ones. Just come to the rink a hour beforehand. Tape my sticks before I get dressed into my warm up gear and then go play two touch with the boys. 

Favourite comic book hero?

Ahh Captain Underpants! Ha ha noo there’s a lot, I read a lot of Manga so yeah. 

What would you say to get someone to a hockey game?

Come to one of ours! It doesn’t matter who we play its always going to be good. The tempo of the league at the moment, the calibre of the play is just getting better and better. Any game that anyone comes to, they are going to love it.
