Fighting back in the third period, Ben Handberg and Joey Macdougall opened the scoring for Adelaide, but Northstars Tanner Butler and Liam Manwarring responded in quick succession. The final goal of the game, scored by Julian Friederich, lifted the home team’s spirits, but they could not catch the visitors. On Sunday, Tanner Butler opened the scoring for the Northstars, and Adelaide’s Nathaniel Benson tied the game to close out the first period. Daniel Berno, Wehebe Darge and Riley Klugerman scored one goal each in period two, unanswered by Adelaide.
