The Newcastle Rescue Northstars play their final two games of the 2019 Australian ice Hockey League regular season at home this weekend.

The Northstars face fifth-placed Melbourne Mustangs at Hunter Ice Skating Stadium from 5pm on Saturday, August 24 and wooden spooners Adelaide Adrenaline from 4pm on Sunday, August 25.

Both games will be livestreamed on AIHL YouTube. Northstars Live - the pre-game show - rolls 30 minutes before puck drop on game days.

The Northstars are invitng all of its supporters to join them on the ice after Sunday's game for the annual end of season group photo.

Fans, sponsors, family, friends - all Northstars supporters are welcome!

Following this weekend's games, the Northstars will welcome AIHL supporters for the finals series being staged at HISS Saturday, August 31 to Sunday, September 1.
