The 2019 Australian Ice Hockey League Finals presented by Air Canada will be staged at Hunter Ice Skating Stadium, Warners Bay, home to the Newcastle Rescue Northstars, on Saturday, August 31 and Sunday, September 1.
There will be pre-game activities including a band, bar and barbecue in the car park at Hunter Ice Skating Stadium on Saturday. The car park bar will be set up from 1pm with further activities and merchandise available beginning at 2pm. The band and barbecue will be available in the HISS car park in between semi-final one and two.
Semi-Final One: Saturday, August 31, doors open 2.30pm, puck drops 3pm
The first semi-final game will see 2019 AIHL minor premiers and defending champions CBR Brave face fourth-placed Sydney Bears.
Semi-Final Two: Saturday, August 31, doors open 6.30pm, puck drops 7pm
The second semi-final will see second-placed Newcastle Northstars face third-placed Perth Thunder.
Grand Final: Sunday, September 1, doors open 3pm, puck drops 3.30pm
The winner from each semi-final will face each other on Sunday afternoon for a chance to lift the Goodall Cup.
After-party: Sunday, September 1 from 6pm at Warners at the Bay.
Join the rest of the fans after the grand final at Warners at the Bay. All fans are welcome/ The AIHL has reserved tables to allow people to get dinner and relive the action on the big screen.
